Finance graduate programme

Finance Graduate - Bermuda

Working with and learning from experienced finance professionals, you’ll develop the skills that will enable you to contribute to the growth of the Hiscox finance team both in Bermuda and internationally. You’ll have a chance to work in two fundamental areas of finance; financial planning and analysis - partnering a business unit and translating their future business plans into financial forecasts, and financial reporting and control – recording the actual performance of our business and how we report these results to key stakeholders including our leadership teams, investors and regulators. You’ll spend time working with internal audit and also gain experience in one or more additional areas of the finance portfolio that are of interest to you, such as tax, treasury, investor relations, finance operations or reinsurance.

You’ll complete up to six rotations that are between three and six months in length. Although most of these will take place in the Bermuda, you may spend one of these rotations abroad.

You’ll have a clear interest in finance, be confident working with numbers and have the ability to convey information to a range of audiences. You’ll to be able to think critically to identify areas of improvement and change. But it’s not just about the numbers – you’ll be curious to learn and see the bigger picture.

Your desire to work and collaborate with others will be key to you developing strong working relationship across our business – but you’ll also have the courage to ask questions and challenge the status quo.

Your experience on the scheme, along with a professional qualification, will equip you with the credibility and understanding to become a well-rounded finance professional.

What qualifications do I need?

Evidence of high academic achievement, for example, a grade point average of 3.0 or better out of 4.0 (or equivalent).
