Building a diverse and inclusive culture
We’ve made important progress on diversity and inclusion (D&I) across the group. We have a dedicated D&I expert leading on this work, a set of KPIs for each of our business units, and established a nine-point plan to address gender imbalance at senior levels. Our employees now benefit from flexible working and enhanced maternity/paternity leave policies, and we completed a comprehensive pay gap analysis. To help support and retain women returning from maternity leave we have developed handbooks for employees and managers, and introduced a buddy system. We also sponsored the Dive In Festival (external link) for the fourth consecutive year.
Our focus on D&I as a strategic priority continues to be led at Board level as we broaden the scope of activities beyond gender, drive more specific and targeted action, and ensure D&I is firmly on the management agenda of each of our business units. We are currently rolling out unconscious bias training for all people managers across the Group, and extending our women in leadership training to more junior employees.
