  • We’re celebrating 50 years of Pride at Hiscox with sponsorship of some key UK events and initiatives, as well as supporting social events and discussion for employees in our offices around the world, organised by our global Pride employee network.

    Supporting Queer Frontiers in London

We’re proud to once again partner with ARTIQ, a London-based art company, as headline 'rainbow' sponsor for their fourth annual charity art exhibition Queer Frontiers, a week-long pop up exhibition and programme of events that support the LGBTQ+ community and showcases an outstanding selection of art by some of the world’s most exciting queer artists and allies.

This year’s exhibition sees ARTIQ partner for the first time with Link, the LGBTQ+ Insurance Network of which Hiscox is a member. As part of Link Pride 2022’s '50 years of Pride' celebrations and in collaboration with ARTIQ, the network is also running an art competition as well as a series of creative arts-based events throughout 2022.

The exhibition is open to the public and will take place in London’s Soho from June 30th – July 10th as part of celebrations to mark the 50th anniversary of Pride in London with at least half of all proceeds from artworks sold donated to charities Outside In and the Albert Kennedy Trust.

    A first for Hiscox York

This year for the first time, we’re also sponsoring York Pride 2022 – with Hiscox volunteers on hand to chat to people about what its like to work at Hiscox, complete with Pride cupcakes specially baked by our York colleagues.

    Around our offices

Our global PRIDE employee network has been busy organising a series of events across our offices throughout June, from a drag quiz to discussion panels and events including a talk from Switchboard, the LGBT+ Helpline.

The network conducted a survey at the beginning of the year which revealed that employees were most keen to hear about the experiences of their fellow colleagues within the LGBTQ+ community so there will be a panel dedicated to topics raised by respondents such as; coming out, pronouns, and parenthood.

We look forward to sharing some of the experiences, joy, creativity and concerns of the LGBT+ community and celebrating 50 years of Pride together.

The Queer Frontiers 2022 exhibition will be held at 7-9 Walker’s Court, London W1F 0SE from June 30th – July 10th.
