At Hiscox, technology is central to how we deliver for our customers and how we grow as a business. As we continue to invest in our digital future, we’re excited to launch our first Technology Graduate Programme, a new initiative designed to bring fresh thinking and early career talent into our global tech community.
The programme has welcomed its first cohort of six graduates across London, Lisbon and York.
Open to people from both technical and nontechnical backgrounds, our new programme offers two routes:
- Engineering – for graduates with a technical foundation who want to deepen their expertise;
- Business Technology – for those keen to explore how technology shapes strategy, operations and customer experience.
Over 18 months, graduates rotate through core technology areas including engineering, data science, cyber security and agile delivery. At the end of the programme, each graduate moves into a permanent role, equipped with real-world experience and a clear understanding of the impact technology has across the Group.

For those on the programme, the opportunity to contribute from day one is already creating momentum.
Atinuke Olayinka, one of the scheme’s first graduates, said:

Through my rotations, I’m seeing exactly how technology moves the business forward and can be a source of competitive advantage.”
Following the success of the first intake, the programme will expand later this year and into 2027 as we accelerate our digital transformation. By developing future leaders in technology, we’re building a strong and sustainable pipeline of talent ready to support our ongoing growth and innovation.
